Our Mission

Stop wasting time on dead links and low-value directories. Awesome Directories helps indie hackers, bootstrappers, and solopreneurs discover the highest-quality launch directories for their SaaS products.

Why I Built This

As an indie hacker launching my own SaaS products, I was frustrated by outdated blog posts with dead links from 2014 and overwhelming lists of 400+ directories with no way to filter by quality metrics.

I spent 20+ hours manually researching directories, checking their Domain Ratings, verifying dofollow status, and testing submission processes. This project is my way of saving other founders that time.

The goal: Help you find the top 20 directories worth your time in under 3 minutes.

Open Source Philosophy

This project is 100% open source (Apache 2.0 License) and community-driven. The data is transparent, the codebase is public, and contributions are welcome from everyone.

We update directory ratings weekly via GitHub Actions, accept community submissions via Pull Requests, and track all changes publicly.
